If you would like to share your Christmas card idea on ScrapScene, please click here for submission details.  We will be running this series until next Friday, and by then we will have 50 card ideas! (View all previously featured cards here.)

Thank you to Julie Bode, from Invercargill, New Zealand, for today's card idea. Please read on below for more details on Julie's card design.

"I do sample layouts in my spare time for my local scrapbook store Inkspiration in Invercargill. I have only recently begun to play with card making so when the owner Karen tossed this ribbon at me and asked me if I could do something with it. We were all taken by surprise at how awesome they turned out 🙂 and how super easy they are!

The gorgeous metallic ribbon is wrapped around the embossed card.   This is matted on a metallic shade then adhered to a card. I embossed the 25 with gold embossing powder and the white snowflake was cut using a Cuttlebug die and covered in Diamond Dust."

Materials used:

– Bazzill Bling Cardstock
– Metallic Cardstock
– Vandoros Ribbon
– Diamond Dust
– The 25 is from Kaisercrafts wooden flourish range.

Cuttlebug – Embossing folders and Snowflake is a cuttlebug die.

Thanks, Julie!
