Christmas Card-a-Day: Day 39

Share your Christmas card ideas on ScrapScene! Please click here for details on how to submit your card idea. See all previously featured cards here.

Today's featured card is by Mary Anne Walters, of Hampshire, UK.  Mary Anne shows us two examples using this design.  Also, drop by her blog for a link-up to the printables!

Supplies: cardstock, ribbon, embossing folder, my printables

Build on a parallelogram-cut piece of cardstock, I embossed the two flaps with an embossing folder then scored and folded three of my Christmas tree printables to create the central motif.

Here is one from another angle!

The angle-cut base can be used in different positions – this is another version, with a single printable and a different orientation!

Supplies: cardstock, embossing folder, Stickles, my printables, Distress ink, gem

You can't see it in this shot taken in dismal winter daylight, but the base of the card has my glitter brayer technique added over the dry embossing.  You can see that a bit better here, and see the blog post in more detail here.

Thanks, Mary Anne!  Please visit Mary Anne at her blog here.
