Tutorials for Scrapbookers & Paper Crafters

Cheryl Waters shows how to make this spring-themed cone project in a tutorial posted here at Fiskateers.

Donna Downey recently ran "inspiration week,"  a week-long series of posts full of free video tutorials.  See the first one here. Shown below is a peek from one of the transfer techniques she demonstrates.

Alter an old book into an art journal following instructions from iHanna. (See one of her photos below.)  Most of my own art journals are in old books as well.  I love to have portions of the text peek through on some of the pages.  The only thing I've found in re-using old books is that you need to be careful as the pages are more prone to tearing when paint and other mediums are applied.

The Cart Before the Horse has a free template and instructions to make the little cardboard houses, shown below, in a post here.

How About Orange shares a photo of origami mushrooms (see below) as well as the link of where she learned how to make them (here).

Wendy Vecchi tells how to make the flower embellishment, below, using metal tapes.  Read her instructions here.

Linda Cain shows how she uses metal foil tapes in a tutorial posted here, for making the tag shown below.

Tammy Malone shows how she turned a lampshade into a little storage bucket, in a post here.

Jennifer Longenecker shows how to make this pretty butterfly garden, shown below, in a post here at A Million Memories.
