Pick a Colour Palette

We are all sick here so I hope you don't mind that there is no full post today.  I couldn't leave you without something though. 🙂  Please take a look at this idea from Elvie Studio for creating a colour palette.  I love this idea for a variety of reasons.  It helps you know what colours you have in your stash to work with, regardless of the medium. Try it with spray inks, ink pads, paints as well as coloured pencils.  Maybe even cardstock swatches? I also love that you can decide on a colour palette at a glance, compare the colour sticks with photos and then decide on a colour scheme for a layout.

This reminds me of some online color palette tool that I used. After picking the color, you could arrange similar colors next to it. From an artistic view, color pallets are the key building block to an art project.

    Get well soon!
