New Monthly Scrapbooking Series Includes Instruction, Inspiration, Resources, Interviews and More

Each month, alongside guest designers at the Masterful Scrapbook Design series, you will focus on and become masterful at one aspect of scrapbook page design. At the end of the month, you will have on-going access to a repository of tutorials, audio and print interviews, web resources, and annotated scrapbook pages on the focus topic. The cost is $10 per month and you can cancel (or suspend) at any time. (Masterful Scrapbook Design is a part of the Get It Scrapped! website and owned and managed by Debbie Hodge.)

Take a look at what the September issue will contain by month-end. This is more than a class: it’s a resource that’s easier to store AND easier to search than a magazine. Study new topics month after month, and know that you can always quickly reference earlier collections.

The topics and the teachers:

Each month we’re tackling big, broad topics and hiring diverse and experienced scrapbook page designers (who make both paper and digital pages) to address the many facets of a topic.

September 2010: “Color” with Doris Sander, Lisa Dickinson, and Debbie Hodge.

October 2010: “Layers” with Lisa Dickinson, Dina Wakley, Amber Ries, and Debbie Hodge.

November 2010: “Details” with Doris Sander and additional designers to be announced.

December 2010: “Events” with Debbie Hodge and additional designers to be announced.

The approach:

The Masterful Scrapbook Design series offers in-depth, focused lessons that can be accessed in multiple ways: electronically (via computer screen, ipad, or other reader), printed to paper, and even listened to (copy to your phone, your mp3 player, or dvd).

Each month you receive:

– An in-depth seminar on the topic (printed & audio). (This comes out on the 1st of the month. September’s seminar was a 28-page pdf with an hour-long audio version.)

– Individual interviews with each guest designer (audio & transcript).

– Live Q&A session with designers – available afterward in audio and transcript form.

– Access to inspiration galleries in which guest designers post relevant layouts and describe their approach to making these pages.

– Access to a private forum and private gallery where you may ask questions and share your thoughts and pages.

How it works:

The Masterful Scrapbook Design series costs $10 each month. When you register, you set up a recurring payment to Masterful Scrapbook Design via Paypal. You can always cancel this subscription. Detailed instructions for subscribing, making sure you get access to archives, and suspending subscription are on the About page at Masterful Scrapbook Design. The site is managed by Get It Scrapped! owner Debbie Hodge and teachers and administrators from that site Tami Taylor and Amy Kingsford. If you have any problems, we are available to straighten things out — and even process refunds with no questions asked. We promise a 24-hour turnaround, but it’s usually much quicker. If you suspend membership for a month or more, those past archives will be available but at a higher price than the $10 monthly subscription.

Click here to subscribe to Masterful Scrapbook Design and get access to the entire month of September (and lots of color instruction, ideas, and resources) and the first half of October (when we talk about layering and collaging) for $10.

There’s more:

If you are unhappy for any reason, you will receive a refund with no questions asked. And still be friends!

And there’s one more thing:

When you register for Masterful Scrapbook Design you’ll receive a free self-paced e-class by Debbie Hodge: Learn Design Principles That Grow Scrapbooking Ideas. Anyone may receive this 12-lesson class via a series of emails for free. The bonus you get when you register for Masterful Scrapbook Design is the entire class in a 100-page illustrated pdf that you can easily print or read on screens and iPads.
