Scrapbooking Trends 2010 – Part 3

If you would like to see our prior posts on new scrapbooking trends for 2010, please click here: Part 1, Part 2. Comments today are from Christy Tomlinson, of The Scarlet Lime.

"Each year I get so excited to attend CHA and see in person all the fabulous things our wonderful Manufactures have I store… This year, I have already seen lots of sneak peeks from some of my favorite companies, and  I think we will see a lot more of the vintage "kitchy" style, with big florals, fun retro prints and Wallpaper looks (see below). Also soft Vintage colors like corals, mint greens and robin egg blue. I also think the 80's are back in full swing and we will see a lot of fun bright, electric patterns and colors.

Above "Tara" 12"x12" paper is from the "Ella Blue" line from GCG Studios.

Above is 12"x12" paper "Vintage Audrey" from the "Homespun Chic" line of GCD Studios.

I am SUPER excited about a new Tool I have seen with GCG Studios, one that I have actually been wanting for years! This new tool can stamp and emboss chipboard and the designs include alphabets, floral, stars, flourishes.. the list goes on! I KNOW this will be a must have tool for 2010!

I also think we will see a lot of altered art mixed in with scrapbooking including fabric books, wearable pieces like necklaces, headpieces and more…. using scrapbooking products. I think this is going to be a wonderful year for old things new.. and I can't wait!"
