Even More Mad Digital Skillz with Pattie Knox

Pattie Knox has 6 new lessons and a great bundle of digital product ready for her next class, which starts October 13th. Even More Mad Digital Skillz is the 4th class in the popular "Mad Skillz" series from Pattie, who is a digital product designer at and former contributing editor to CK’s Digital Scrapbooking Magazine. Each lesson includes an advanced technique for amping up your digital pages and projects—explained in a way that any user of Photoshop can understand and use.

This class is designed for users of all versions of Photoshop Elements from Version 3 up to Version 7, as well as Photoshop CS through CS4. Some familiarity with your software is needed—but not much! As in all of Pattie’s classes, you get more than lessons: you get hand-holding and awesome company in the private class forum as well as a great assortment of digital products from her friends at This class includes 8 full page kits perfect for the fall season. 

The Grafitti of My Life (creating an art journal from loose pages to finished book) with Dina Wakley 
October 27 – November 20

Are you ready for an artistic challenge? Do you want to take your art journaling to a new level? If so, then get ready to channel your inner “grunge,” and join Dina Wakley in Art Journaling 301: The Graffiti of My Life. In this project-based class, you’ll explore the words that are meaningful to you and put them in an art journal that you create on loose watercolor sheets and bind into an artsy, grungy journal
Art techniques included are: color field wash backgrounds, manipulating stencils and inks, making inclusions to tip in, confined collages, and book-binding. Don’t worry if you’ve never bound a book before…there will be extensive written materials and how-to videos to help you every step of the way. 

Get It Stamped! 101 with Sharyn Tormanen 
November 2 – December 7 

The lessons in Get It Stamped!101 will have you eager to get your hands inky and adding stamping to your layouts and projects.  Sharyn Tormanen developed many of her stamping skills and techniques while designing for stamping companies Close To My Heart and Technique Tuesday. In this class, she’ll cover the basics of supplies and techniques while mixing in lots of tips and tricks that not-so-new stampers will appreciate. All of the 6 weekly lessons include a step-by-step tutorial as well as multiple examples of finished products using the featured technique. You’ll come out of Get It Stamped! 101 understanding how to use and choose from a variety of stamps and inks, make good impressions, use masking techniques, fill your images, and basic embossing. Plus, you’ll be ready to move on to the next classes in this series that Sharyn will continue in early 2010.
