Handmade Teacher Gifts

Some children are already out of school and others will be very shortly.  It’s not too late to make a cute gift for your child to give to the teacher.  Involve the child whenever possible – it will mean so much more to the teacher. The best part is you have another excuse to get out your scrapbooking supplies!  Here are a few ideas:

A Little Hut shows some adorable paper boxes she made for teacher’s gifts.

Melissa Philipps shows a teacher’s gift set that she made for her child’s teacher. Homemade cookies and a pretty candle are all decorated up cute with a coordinating card. One photo is shown below and you can see more here.

Heidi Swapp has some fun ideas for teacher’s gifts on her blog.  Heidi talks about including movie tickets in a card,  a magazine, an iTunes card, a gift card from a bookstore and lots of other great ideas. You can see them all here, plus one adorable card is shown below.

Lauren, from Gigglepotamus made the pretty candle cozies shown here for her son’s teachers.

Giftz and Greetingz made the cute Post-It note holder shown below.  They have other gift ideas for teacher’s in their Etsy shop here and some teacher cards are shown here.

Bookplates by Jack and Dizzy would be a great gift for a teacher.  See photo below.
