Are you ready to learn how to edit your digital photos?

One of the reasons many of us have switched from film photos to digital photos is because we’ve heard it’s possible to edit them—to make them better! Editing photos . . . hmmmm. How exactly do you do that? What software should you use? What’s it mean when you go to crop and you have to decide on the resolution? Is it actually possible to brighten up a dark photo or sharpen a blurry one? If you’ve been meaning to figure all of this out, now’s the time. Lynn Weber’s Beginning Photo Editing class starts Monday, February 16, and she’s already answering questions in the “Welcome” forum and sharing a “Getting Ready” lesson.

Beginning Photo Editing with Adobe Elements with Lynn Weber online class runs Feb 16 – Feb 25. Cost is $25.

Are there are times when photos and journaling on a traditional scrapbook page don’t convey all you’d like?

Art Journals offer the opportunity to express yourself with words and art. Dina Wakley is a scrapbooker, mixed-media collage artist, and visual journaler who employs a line-upon-line approach to teaching that has even those who hesitate because “they’re not artists” exploring their lives through art. In Art Journaling 102, she’ll teach you how to amp up your images, layers, and textures. If you missed Art Journaling 101 in the fall, the pdf lessons and video instructions are still available, and Dina regularly checks the private class forum and gallery.

Art Journaling 102 with Dina Wakley online class runs Feb 26 to Mar 11. Cost is $35.
