Look at these cute paper sleeves for holding cards on the The Hero Club Blog.

Here are some beautifully framed pieces of paper art by Jill Paulson.  She used scrapbooking supplies to make them and gave them away for Christmas gifts this year.  One photo is shown at right.

Speaking of framed art, I also love this piece on Cari Kraft‘s blog.

Scrapbooks Etc. magazine has added a couple of new web features.  Quick Collages—drag-and-drop digital photo collage templates that make it easy to create photo collages.  Also, their sketches are now more user-friendly. The gallery of sketches is divided by size and number of photos, plus each sketch has a downloadable PDF with an image of the sketch, a photo of the original layout, and a place to write notes about the sketch.

Simple Scrapbooks is ceasing publication as a separate magazine and being rolled into CK starting with the July 2009 issue of CK. More info can be found on their blog here.

Here’s a blank template for making your own paper toys from Toy-A-Day blog.

Pretty nest coin envelope cards are shown here by Cathe Holden.  She includes them as a gift with sales in her Etsy shop but also reveals a tutorial on how they are made.

Ella, our Virtual Assistant, shows how she decorated her office desk with scrapbooking supplies!  She plans to cover it with glass for protection. Great idea, Ella!
