Speedlink Saturday for Week of Feb 24/08

Gigi Kennedy has a tutorial up on the One Little Word blog on how to make a ribbon and button flower.

Andrea Wiebe has opened up an Etsy shop, “Glad Greeting,” for the sale of her greeting cards.

Ali Edwards talks about how she created a scrapbook layout using a divided page protector. She even suggests using rub-ons right on top – now that’s a great idea!

We’ve mentioned those vinyl wall decals / rub-ons before. Here’s another use for them. Carrie Colbert Batt put a birthday greeting on a door window here. How creative is that idea! So many possibilities.

Here’s an interesting project from Martha Stewart Crafts. Using all your hole punches, create a punch ‘glossary’ of sorts. Take a look at it here.

Stephenie Hamen, one of the Lead Fiskateers, has started a new site, Crop Girl. This site is devoted to cropping. Stephanie says of her love for cropping, “It is where we shop, learn, share, create, inspire, make friends, laugh, cry, eat, and play.”

Scrapbook Dimensions magazine has opened up a new arm of their site, a “social networking site.” It is meant as a “destination for meeting like-minded scrappers for daily fellowship and inspiration.” You can go to the site here. (You’ll need to create an account.)

WatchaMaDoodles is an Etsy shop by Tams Crazy World. She has some beautiful felt bags which hold notecards. Check them out here. There are also cute journaling cards here.
