Candy Wrapper Party Favours

katydiddeswrapper.jpgHere’s a great idea for making quick and easy party favours.  Buy chocolate bars or candy bars, and recover them.  (It’s best to cover on top of the existing wrapping because you want to make sure the recipient is aware of the ingredients for allergy information.)  Here are some examples of customized wrapping for candy bars:

Katydiddy made these pretty chocolate bar wrappers for her daughter’s second birthday. Photo at right.  They feature a watercolour bird painting that she made herself.

Angela Daniels made a beautiful candy wrapper themed for St. Patrick’s Day.  Love how she used a border punch for the edges.

SkyRocketStar posted a page from a Martha Stewart magazine showing lots of different hand made candy wrappers.

Joelt shows some candy bar favours used to celebrate a baby’s birth here.

Ann, from Crafty1tutu, made a lot of different wrappings which you can see in the photo here.  These are actually covered mint tins which contain tags inside.  Although not candy wrappings, they do look a lot like them so great for inspiration.
