2 Scrappy Sisters on Extreme Makeover – Home Edition!

2 Scrappy Sisters, in Kansas City, recently had the pleasure of creating a custom scrapbook for a military family being featured on Extreme Makeover – Home Edition! When they were contacted about the project, of course their answer was, "Yes! Diane, Linda, and the team from 2 Scrappy Sisters had to work fast to get the projects2scrappysistersputtingalbumtogether.jpg made in time for the show's taping. They immediately contacted a manufacturer and received a donation of an album, paper, embellishments and more supplies to create the project. They then rushed around to research the subject and get the album finished. They not only created a 12"x12"30 page leather scrapbook, but also an album for the actual home makeover. Afterwards, they were also asked to create a framed photo display, and a shadow box. Once they were brought in to present their projects, they received an emotional reaction and got to tour the house! Diane says, "This was the adventure of our lifetime and the store pulled together for this awesome privilege. … it was thrilling to watch their faces as they look(ed) through the layouts."2scrappysistersextrememakeoveralbumcover.jpg To read the entire story of their experience plus see all the photos, please click here. As Diane says, "Isn't it wonderful knowing you can build a house but Scrapbooks make the MEMORIES." The show airs in February, 2008. (TBA) While visiting the 2 Scrappy Sisters website, take a look at their online store.  Lots of premade scrapbook layouts are available to purchase in various themes such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and military-themed.  They come ready for you to simply add in your own photos and journaling.
