Scrap Storage and Studio Ideas

emelinengribbonstorage.jpgEmeline Seet shares some great DIY ideas for storing some of your scrapping supplies.  These are things that you can do at home using supplies you may already have around the house.

The first is for ribbon storage.  (See photo at right).  Emeline simply clips an end of a piece of ribbon into a clothespin, to secure it.  The ribbon is then wrapped around the clip with the end folded back through. emelineseetdiyclipitup.jpg

Another great idea that Emeline has is to make her your own ‘clip it up’ for storing rub-ons and sticker packages.  She simply attached a book ring through the top of each package and hung them on a wooden mug holder.  (See photo at left).  Be sure and visit Emeline’s blog for more inspiration.

Jennifer Stewart shows photos here of how she will be storing her scrap supplies when she goes to a scrapbooking retreat. She’s purchased a folding, rolling cart to keep them all in and make them more easily accessible.

Tara Anderson‘s craft room is featured on HGTV’s website here. There are other studio photos here, here, and here.

I love the clothespin idea for ribbon storage. My ribbons always seem to be tangled and even using the shoebox with holes idea for ribbon storage, I find it hard to see how much of each ribbon I have available. With the clothespin it looks like you get a better picture of how much ribbon is still left.
