Scrapbooking Trend Watch: Stitching

Stitching in scrapbooks has been around for awhile. The look of it has evolved, however. Handstitching designs or doodles on your page is a creative way to make your page unique. Check out Danielle Thompson‘s page from the Freestyle blog – a portion of it is shown to the left here.

Another interesting take on stitching is shown in an online class that Jennifer Johner did for National Scrapbook Day on Two Peas in a Bucket. She shows how she makes stitching less perfect by going up and down the same area more than once. Here is a sample from the page she created for that class.
