ScrapScene is an craft inspiration blog about all things paper crafting, scrapbooking and mixed media – since April 2006! We offer paid advertising – where you may purchase specific advertising items such as featured ad blocks or banners.
Since ScrapScene began, in April 2006, we have seen over 3 million page views and over 1.6 million unique visitors! Currently we are averaging between 32 000 – 43 000 unique visitors per month and between 46 000 – 60 000 page loads per month. In addition, there are over 3 200 people who receive our daily newsletter and more who receive ScrapScene's daily posts in a reader. Advertising on ScrapScene is a great way to get your product seen. Our readership audience is made up of scrapbookers, paper crafters, designers, manufacturers, store owners and book and magazine publishers.

Paid Advertising Options
Take advantage of our large readership to get the news out about your company or new product/service. The Press Release is a single blog post written by you and dedicated to you and your company. Press releases are a great way to promote a new company, book releases, product promotion, sales/specials, or any type of large event announcement. We guarantee the post to stay at the top of the blog body (above the fold) for a full 24 hours and will continue to stay available on our blog forever as it moves into archives. The release can include pictures, logo's, links, testimonials and any other company related information that you choose. ScrapScene may also comment on the release if we feel that it is important news for our readers. ScrapScene does reserve the right to limit the size (as in length of the post) of the release. The price for a single press release is $49 (US or CAD funds).
Scrapbooking/Papercrafting Kit Listing
Each Friday, content providing, ScrapScene posts a list of the current kits being offered by various kit stores. Each kit store notice will be in the following format: a few sentences about your latest kit(s), (to a maximum of 200 words), one photo (jpg up to 150kb size, no animated gifs), plus a link back to your site. To boost your club or store's visibility, each time we post a kit update, we will limit that post to a maximum of 10 kit stores. See here for an example. Information must be submitted by the day prior to the ad posting, so Thursday evening at the latest. Please provide the image/photo and the text exactly as you would like it to be seen in the post (up to the 200 word max.) The cost for a single Kit Store Listing is $10 (US or CDN funds.) Product giveaways are another alternative for promoting your company. You can see one example of this here. Typically, we would ask a question relating to scrapbooking and request commenters to respond with an answer in the post. Once the deadline for comments is made, we will select a winner using an online random number generator, contact them for their mailing address and then forward it off to you to mail directly to the winner. Our audience is international, so please be aware of this for mailing expenses. A sponsorship fee of $20 is charged for ScrapScene to host a giveaway for you. With the initial giveaway post, there will also be reminder posts and an announcement of a winner post, all which will reference your name as the sponsor. We ask that the prize be valued at a minimum of $25.

Payments are accepted via PayPal. An invoice will be sent to you using PayPal's invoicing system once your ad is in place. Payments are due upon receipt. Ask about discounts for multiple purchases. All ads subject to approval.
