Comparing Watersoluble / Watercolour Graphite Pencils

A lot of mixed media artists use watercolour graphite pencils in their work. There are lots of different brands out there. By far, I would say my favourite one to use is the Stabilo Marks All 8046 pencil. It is the darkest and strongest, graphite-wise.

Here is a little video I did showing a comparison between a lot of different brands that are available on the market.

Here is a list of the pencils tried in the video:

Stabilo All Pencil 8046 & 8008, General's Sketch & Wash , General's Kimberly Watercolor , Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuth Gioconda Aquarelle 8800 4B, Derwent Sketching Light Wash HB & Dark Wash 8B

Wow, I did NOT know that there were watercolor graphite pencils! OK, I just have even more supplies to buy LOL Thanks for the video. I’ve been doing a lot of watercolors lately and I’m definitely going to buy these pencils.
