Here is my plan for Project Life . I love how dedicated people are to create pages each week in their life for an entire year. I love the idea, but really, not every week in my life is that exciting (!) plus, I just cannot commit to doing that each week for the whole year.
What I love about Project Life is that you are in charge of how you spend your time. Take the best out of it – take what you like. You can create your own rules and still simplify things by using the method of creating quick pages without all the time and money involved in making a whole layout. I love full blown traditional scrapbooking layouts, but it is a bit overwhelming at times and Project Life takes the best out of scrapbooking, journaling and pretty pages to make a simple record that can be still be enjoyed for years to come. My main purpose in scrapbooking is for record keeping, but I do still enjoy a pretty page and the thrill out of creating something nice to look at.
Here is my solution. So, my plan is to create Project Life pages whenever the urge strikes me, by event, or what have you. This part sounds ambitious to me now, but I'd also love to get the kids' baby books done using this method. We shall see!
I would love to hear your thoughts on Project Life – if you've already done it and if you plan to try it!
