To make these little coasters you may need to ask somebody (A.K.A. Husband) to slice up some logs for you. Ours are just a couple inches high.
We sanded them a little, applied some stain and then glued little knobs from Michaels on the bottom. This makes the coasters footed.
A little heart stencil was made from paper. The hearts were painted on through the stencil. Once they dried, they were outlined with black permanent marker.
This is a fun little project that the kids can help with too!
