Christmas Card-a-Day: Day 46

If you would like to share your Christmas card idea on ScrapScene, please click here for submission details.  We will be running this series until Friday, and by then we will have 50 card ideas! (View all previously featured cards here.)

Today's featured card is by Laurie Jefferies, from Ontario, Canada.  Read details below to see how she used some of the same supplies to create 2 variations of it:

Supplies:

-  card layout from Make It From Your Heart Vol. 1 (CTMH)

-Pear & Partridge paper, silver shimmer trim, olive, cranberry, cashmere and black water-based inks, cranberry and cashmere pigment inks, C1510 Merry and Bright stamp set (first card), D1483 Glory to God stamp set (second card), self-adhesive pearls, self-adhesive sparkles (all Close To My Heart)

Description:

"Same layout – two different looks! On the first card I made the wreath by stamping it in Olive and then a second time in Cranberry. I cut out the flowers and ribbon and adhered to the Olive wreath. I added a pearl to the ribbon. To make the bird I inked my stamp with sponge daubers using Cranberry pigment ink and Cashmere pigment ink and then stamped. I added cocoa marker for the eye, beak and legs and cut it out.

For the second card I used Glory to God stamp set – my favourite Christmas stamp! I simply stamped the manager scene in black, the star image in yellow and added sparkles."
