Embroidery Hoops in the Studio

I'm still seeing a lot of embroidery hoops displayed on walls – with fabric, paper, etc..  I think it goes back to the Purl Bee idea we first saw in 2007.  They make for such pretty frames and  I got thinking about how they could be used for scrapbook supply storage as well, or like a pin-board or inspiration board,. Bits of ephemera or photos or something else pretty would look great.  

What about a whole hoop full of floral embellishments right out where you can see them? (See one example below from Apartment Therapy.) 

Lune Vintage shows a few photos of her craft studio here.  I really love the look of those hoops on the wall.  A great way to store beads and necklaces as she shows in the photo below.
