So, I mentioned in a previous post about our cross-province move. We have moved from Ontario to Manitoba. A big change for us, but we are slowly getting into a routine. This is a rural prairie town and so things operate a little slower here – a good pace (!), but we're in the middle of a 2 1/2 week wait to get our internet hooked up. So, please pardon if I'm a little slow getting back on emails. 🙂 Below are a few photos (Instagram and others) I thought I'd share with you of our 24 hour plus drive to our new location!
At the Terry Fox Memorial along the route:
After a rain/flood in the street:
The days are much longer here. The sun is setting after 10 p.m. I think. Couple the bright nights with the time change and the kids don't think bedtime is when it should be!
Canola fields as far as you can see.
Lots of windmills.
From a nearby historical Ukrainian settlement.
Finding old paintings from years ago while unpacking. This one is a gesso stencilled piece on canvas.
That's it for now!
