Christy Tomlinson has a video tutorial here showing how she makes texture on her artwork using some common items you may have around the house.
Mary Anne Walters has a tutorial posted here, with printables, showing how to make these pretty folded flowers. Here are a few brief instructions from Mary Anne. More details and step-by-step photos can be found in the link. "What you do is print the sheet on the back (plain side) of single-sided cardstock. Punch the motifs with a 1 inch circle punch and fold and stick like you would a normal 5-petal dahlia."
Wendy Vecchi shows some different techniques involving embossing in a post here.
Love this simple journal idea from Emily Falconbridge. She doesn't really have a tutorial posted, but you can get a general idea of how it's made in her post here where she talks about the construction a bit.

Such nice project tutorials!
