An Announcement from Cheryl Waters, Lead Fiskateer, Fiskars.
It's so appropriate that today is Small Business Saturday and I have some exciting news to share. I'm excited to share the grand opening of Artsy Findings. My family has purchased Artsy Findings, a on-line store that offers awesome products and lines by Melody Ross, Donna Salazar, GCD Studios and more to create memorable projects and art. We will also offer in the very near future . . . vintage findings such as fabric, embellishments, unique one of a kind pretties to create and beautify with. In the near future there will also be a section for created findings . . . clothing, projects, gifts and other things handcrafted for your pleasure. We will continue to grow our inventory and handpick special items for kits. I'll also be teaching with some of these kits in the future at local stores.
Today I am really excited to share a monthly project kit . . . a Vintage Christmas banner. In this vintage Christmas banner kit you'll learn techniques, a whole set of chipboard chipart alphas, a set of chipart plaques, and all the trimmings (special vintage image, stamped images from Unity Stamps, etc.) to create your own. Something you can make for a friend or yourself that can be hung up on your mantle for years to come. See a slight peek below. $27.99 . . . you can purchase it here.
To get this grand opening started, I'm having a fantastic giveaway on my new blog. The giveaway . . . a set of Melody Ross' chipart retro stars, Mod Podge starter kit, a Chipart mallet and board, Fiskars microtip scissors in a fun color and a Fiskars Surecut trimmer. You can check out more here and even subscribe to stay up to date on giveaways, inspiration, specials and more. I have shared the last several years on the Fiskateer blog. I will continue . . . it will also be nice to have a personal blog to continue to connect with others and share life, art and hope with one another.
Thanks for many of you who have encouraged me so much from beginning to end in this endeavor. I'm excited to connect with others on an even greater level and make some new friends worldwide. I am excited about doing some charitable events in the future . . . using Art as an avenue to bring hope.
