Jasmine Labombard created this Halloween Countdown Calendar (below) by altering a tray. Here are some more details on her project, "Like a Christmas Advent Calendar, the point is to count down the days to Trick or Treating, starting from Unlucky 13. I have attached a magnet behind each number, in each box. You simply take a small magnet {black and white – from staples} and move it along the countdown {attaching it to the corresponding number}. I happened to be at Winners and found a set of My Mind's Eye 'Haunted' paper on sale for $2.50…who could pass that up? {ALL paper and tags are MME}. The tray is from a garage sale, I purchased 2 for $2…either than the paper and adhesives {pop-dots, double-sided tape, glue gun & crazy glue}, everything else I had at home. The skull head was a dollar store purchase from a few years ago and the skeleton hands I twisted from galvanized wire and covered with old gauze. It is a bit on the darker side, however, I haven't slept {at all} in a few days…so this is what I produce. {lol}" See more images here. Thanks, Jasmine!
At Made by Nicole, you can see how to make this wedding shrine. Perfectly creepy for a Halloween display!

Kirsty Neale has a printable available here for her Halloween Ghosties banner, below.

Great projects ladies. The countdown to Halloween has a real “Adams Family” feel to it.
