I recently had the opportunity to take a look at Caroline Preston's latest book, "The Scrapbook of Frankie Pratt - a Novel in Pictures."
This "scrapbook novel" is set up like a vintage scrapbook and is unlike anything I've ever seen before. As a reader, you feel like you are reading through someone's private diary/scrapbook. To help tell the story, the author has made each page into a scrapbook layout containing vintage ephemera (from her own personal collection) along with type written notes by the main character, a young 1920's New Hampshire woman.
Take a look below to see a peek inside this wonderfully creative book! You can also watch an interesting video of Caroline Preston talking about her process in making the book here and a sweet dramaticized video trailer here.

That’s an interesting book idea (and the first time i read about this). Thanks for the insight!
