Today we have some gorgeous altered projects from ScrapScene readers to share with you!
Shelley Haganman has been collecting windows for some time now and altered this one (below). Shelley tells us she used "rub ons, liquid chalk (so you can erase and write something else easily), small suction cups with hooks (so you can switch out your photos whenever), and some Canvas Corp canvas/burlap stars and some Maya Road organza rose ribbons. This project can be personalized and you can change it up any time you want! I put the decorative rub ons on the back of the pane of glass to hanging a photo wouldn't damage it. The word ones you have to put on the front."
Wendela Lam shares photos of a shadow box she made by hand. "A hand folded shadowbox, for showing my vintage findings." Learn more about Wendela's project here.
Rachel Tucker shares a project she made using products from ScrapMatrix. Here are some notes about this project from Rachel: "Along with the art box (that you make up yourself) and the chipboard frame they have the most gorgeous replica vintage trinkets , like the tiny suitcase in the art box, I've added a note inside and sealed it up. Don't you just love the birdcage! The strawberry is handmade my me from a vintage velvet and hand stitched french knots, topped with a vintage leaf and part of a Prima vine."
