Scrap Attack Scrapbooking - Contest
• Your layout or project must contain at least 75% Glitz Design products on it.
• Your entry must be new and made specifically for this contest.
• 1 entry is allowed per person and this is open to US and Canadian designers.
• Deadline for entry is midnight PST on November 30th, 2010 with a winner being announced within a week.
• To earn a bonus entry into the contest – we challenge you to “Glitz” it up and add a little sparkle or shine to your project.
We will be having six classes – one posted every other night beginning on Nov. 15th. Postings will begin at 9:00 pm EST (6:00 PST). If you are unable to make it to the message board at the specified time – no need for you to worry. Classes (threads) will remain in the specified forum so you can catch up with them at your convenience.
The Scrappy Tree – Blue Challenge
Join The Scrappy Tree and many others to support World Pneumonia Day.
The Challenge: Often when children develop pneumonia, they turn blue. Save the Children wants everyone to wear blue on November 12th to show our support and make others aware, we want you to create something BLUE to show your support.
*Create anything; a Layout, ATC, Wall hanging, Twinchie, Journal page, Banner, Altered Art Piece, Pendant, etc.
*Requirements- your creation must be BLUE. You may use some black and white accents as well as pictures, journaling and embellishments in blue, black or white. Follow the colors of the Logo.
Due Date: November 11th 2010 no later than 10 pm PST.
The Prize: The Scrappy Tree team will announce the winners on November 12th 2010. The top TEN winners will have a ten-dollar donation, paid in their name, sent to Save the Children-World Pneumonia Day to pay for Ten children to be vaccinated. One top winner will take home some cool blue scrappy supplies ($25 value).

Paper Issues – Creative Team Call
You have issues. Share them with the world. We want you to be a part of our Creative Team!
We are looking for Card Specialists, Layout Specialists and Altered Specialists.
What we expect from you: make a project or two every month, say nice things about others. These projects don't have to be in addition to projects for other design teams or assignments.
What you'll get from us: undying affection, fame, a cool button for your blog.
Send an email with your name, blog address and a few reasons why you are so awesome to paperissues@gmail.com. In the Subject line put Card, Layout or Altered so we can put you on the right team.
We will close this call on November 17 and announce the new team members on November 19. It'll be for a 3 month term. December through then end of February.

The Everyday Scrapper – Challenge
The Everday Scrapper will now be hosting several challenges a month. A new challenge has been posted-use the oldest goodies in your stash! Come join us for fun and prizes!
Scrapbook Heaven has created a fun filled CARD CROP for our Nov. EVENT. The DT have put together 20 Card tutorials which will be posted in the forum on Nov. 20th at 9:00 am (CST). These tutorials will offer step-by-step instructions on how to create all 20 cards. To participate in this event join us here.
