The Everyday Scrapper – Sketch Team Call

Deadline: May 15, 2010

Are you interested in being part of a dynamic team? Meet The Everyday Scrapper, an up-and-coming website with tutorials, sketches, challenges, a forum, and lots of eye candy and inspiration!

We're looking for a few contributors who will be able to create a layout based on a sketch for our Sketch Sunday Reveal. This is a weekly commitment. We are also looking for contributors who will be able to promote the website on other blogs and forums. There are no requirements to have been published before, and applicants who hold DT positions elsewhere are welcome to apply. We're just looking for scrappers who love to scrap and share ideas! As a promotion contributor, we also ask that you are active on our forum by posting a minimum of 15 times per week. We also require a 6 month commitment. Thank you! 

Recognition: As an Everyday Scrapper Sketch Team contributor, your work and blog will be featured on the website and on the forum. 

Please e-mail Catherine (at catherine.bilotto@gmail.com) with Everyday Scrapper Sketch Team Submission in the subject, and the following:

- Your name, how long you've been scrapping & anything else you'd like to tell me about you!
- A link to your blog OR 5 of your recent layouts/cards
- HOW you see yourself promoting the website (which blogs, sites, etc)

Creative Cookbooking – Iron Chef Cropetition

The Creative Cookbooking team would like to invite you to join us for a week long crop starting April 26th and going through May 3rd, 2010.  There will be fabulous challenges, tutorials, games and lots of PRIZES! 
 
If you are competing for the Iron Chef guest designer position, then there are a few more things you should know! 
 
This challenge will be posted Friday evening, May 1st and is due Sunday, May 3rd, 11:59 p.m. MST  If you've ever watched the show on Food Network, you know there is always a "secret ingredient" that is used in each dish.  Each competitor will choose one layout from a current Chef to lift.  The secret ingredient must be used in some way, shape or form on your entry layout.  Judging will be based on originality, presentation, and creativity.  The judging panel will consist of all forum members.  A poll will be posted on Monday, May 4th and a winner will be announced on Wednesday, May 6th.
 
The winner, based on voting results, will be the Iron Chef Guest Designer during the month of June!

Join Scrap Attack Scrapbooking from April 30th to May 2nd to help celebrate National Scrapbooking Day. We have some awesome challenges lined up with some extra special prizes that we will be giving out daily in addition to the other amazing SAS prizes. There will also be some pre-crop challenges coming up soon, so make sure you sign up for our message board early so you don't miss them.
Participation is free, you simply need to register for our message board to join in the fun. We hope you can participate for a weekend of challenges, games, friends and fun!  This is going to be one crop you definitely wont want to miss!
