"TRENDS I SEE
Using found paper, found objects, found ephemera: emphasis continues to be on flea market items vintage and homemade such as crochet(ed) doilies. The following photos I used doilies on wood shapes from Say It With Letters Etsy Shop.

Canvas', mixing it up with fine art products like mediums, gesso, guerilla sewing, collage, book binding, assemblage such as the projects showcased on the Bad Girls Project 52 Challenge Blog that I am involved in. Products from companies such as 7Gypsies, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Tim Holtz, K & Co Handmade., Golden Paint, Etsy, Crafty Secrets, etc.

These trends appeal to me as it brings me back to my art basics, the many years I studied art in high school and college. There is a certain freedom in just playing with art products, in creative expression."
Thanks, Julie Ann!
