Wow, this line looks amazing!!
I do mostly masculine layouts (with 4 boys in the house!) and my fave technique or style is grunge. I achieve this using paint, mists, ink, tearing, stamping, doodling and lots of stars instead of flowers. I usually have to alter patterned papers as they are too feminine so this range is right up my alley
I can’t wait to get this line!! Lots of distressing is how I keep my boy pages from getting too girlie. Thanks for the chance at an awesome giveaway!
Love this line! I don’t do nearly enough layouts of my husband because most of my scrappy supplies are girly because of our 7yr old daughter. I would do a lot of distressing with this line as it has that feel to it–I would tear, chalk and especially ball up the PP, lay it back out flat and ink over the creases!
I use lots of metal embellishments, buttons, and distressing! Love the new stuff from Graphic 45.
Holy smokes – I love this line. To make my layouts more masculine – I skip flowers and use otehr things to embellish. I don’t shy away from floral papers though.
metal always works for masculine pages!
What a fabbie line. Fir masculine layouts I try anti keep things clean and simple. I focus more on design then product.
Ohh, those pocket watches are so cool!
Oooh, loving this new G45. Their product is awesome!
Colour choices make my layouts masculine, or feminine, wherever I’m going.
I love Graphic 45! Their products are top quality and so different from everything else out there. “Hot Tomato” is my favorite piece of paper, ever! I can’t think of any layouts that are too masculine. I have many that are “neutral” in color and embellishments. And I am not big into flowers and butterflies generally. My husband and son appreciate this.
That is a great line!
I tend to distress, ink and paint my layout. I use metal embellishments, chipboard shapes that are more geometric, and lots of angular items. I stay away from the flourishes. I tend to use darker and more muted colours unless I am doing a layout of my son and then I tend to use primary colours.
I always love Graphic 45 and this new line didn’t let me down! Masculine layouts are tough but for me it means lots of ink and tearing and of course the right papers.
Love this new paper!!! Well I’m surrounded by males in my house, so this is a very welcome product. For me I do a lot of distressing, paper color choices are key, and try to find more masculine items to use on the pages. This isn’t an easy task let me tell you!
I use lots of blue and brown shades, keeping the LO clean and simple, sometimes rough up the edges, no buttons or bows!
I use more distressing, and I add more things like metal and chipboard
I do so many heritage pages. This is the best line for that I’ve seen!
In masculine layouts I try to be conscience of the colors and patterns that I use. I try to use embelishments that are already masculine like paper airplanes, hats, metal…. this line is gorgeously masculine! I am in love!hehehe
Love this new range! Well I find my self using lots of denim, metal embellishments and buttons.
There’s not much to use for the masculine pages, so this new range is great!
This is such a beautiful line… I usually use rich bold colors for my masculine layouts. I do use a lot of Tim Holtz lines to add embellishments to my layouts as well.
Coordinated colors, buttons, metal (brads, eyelets, arrows, Tim Holtz items), masculine color ribbon, cricut carts. Usually, not using flowers or girl colors.
Hugs,
PattiM

I Scrap So All Moments Are Remembered!
WOW, WOW….talk about a gorgeous masculine line!!!! Love it and can’t wait to see the rest of it!
I guess the obvious is no bling – stick with twill ribbon, buttons, steampunk items – and mostly just paper. It is nice to see a masculine line.
I am over the top excited about this new masculine line from Graphic 45 … oh the possibilities. To make my cards/pages more masculine, I try to “grunge” up the page with distress ink, corragated paper, tearing the edges, etc. I also try to “channel” Tim Allen and his Home Improvement series character.
Wow is that an awesome collection!!!! G45 is surely coming out with some wonderful stuff. I tend to use lots of blues, browns, black, green, beige in my boy stuff, but I do like to add flowers and ribbon when I can.
I use the colors that are more male even for my younger nephews, after they told my sister, their mom that I made them girlie cards!
And from there, stamps, collage items that are more of the masculine interest. That’s why this package is so great, it has snippets, lo and cards waiting to happne. I don’t have to dig deep to find something. Thanks.
Elaine
what a fantastic line
this would be perfect for layouts about my husband– he loves that vintage-y, victorian library look. i tend to use blues, browns, and actually a lot of orange in layouts that need to look masculine. and sometimes, i just avoid them ::hangs head in shame:: I could really use this line to make up for it
Audible gasp! I love this new line!
I tend to roughen things up a bit with some distressing!
OH MY GOSH! Love the new line and can’t wait to get my hands on it. I always struggle creating masculine layouts. I try and use more masculine colors, make embellies using stamps, Tim Holtz line of products and ink/distress/repeat.
Love the look of this line!
3 boys, 1 DH-I could really use this line! I love vintage, but it is hard to find vintage guy paper! I use strong colors, simple lines for masculine pages.
Lovely and masculine line!!!! I play with colors and textures when doing masculine LOS.
ooohh…. this looks good. I love Graphic 45 lines.
I do almost all masculine pages, being the mother of 2 boys. I have been known to use flowers on some of the layouts, but I always use masculine colors. I am really drawn to blues and greens for most of my pages.

This new line is amazing! I love graphic 45! Anything by Tim Holtz is great to embellish guy LO’s. Grunge, Distress, and Crackle and Metal are faves. Thank you for the chance to win.
love destressing with these stunning papers! and love the use of wood on it, an metal things!!

Ya know what, I’m ashamed to say I don’t do anything to make pgs masculine. I’ve only done 2 and I just used browns and blues. Sad since there are 3 boys in my life. I just lean towards the feminine, but I need to make that change.
OOO – I just LOVE G45 papers!!
I like to sand and tear around the edges of the image. Destressing around the edges and then adding brown or other dark ink seems to help too! I also like to add twine instead of ribbon to make it a little more masculine too.
This is a perfect line for boys/man lay-outs.
I use a lot of distres inkt to make masculine looks.
Tear papers as well. Bye Mascha
This is so exciting!!! It has been a while since I looked at a group of papers and loved them all!! I love vintage (I know everyone does right now) from pre-60′s looks. I think a lot of that stuff lends to masculine pages. Techniques can also add to it, like distressing, painting, metallics, etc.
oooh I really would love to win this line! To make my pages more masculine I try to use earthy tones…alot of distressing and metal embellishements. Thanks for the chance to win
I usually ink and distress my pages that are about my husband. I also sometimes use ribbon but only dark colors. I feel like I am in a rut though when it comes to masculine pages.
That paper looks yummy!
Awesome and manly! I use a lot of metal, brads, eyelets. I also distress more than usual.
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
http://justyolie.blogspot.com/
Honestly, I have never used this line, but I am so loving this set. Would love to win this to add to my paper stash….. I love to add lots of embellies…
I don’t use ribbon for sure…
I do like to use browns, blues and greens…
I’m a rubber stamper so I like to stamp backgrounds…
thanks!
Every line from Graphic 45 just gets better. For a masculine feel, I’ve found that by using angular or just straight, clean lines work. Love grunge but don’t want everything looking the same. Clean, block fonts or alphas help. But truthfully – I mostly let the girls rule the look!
Love this line!!! indeed masculine! I would combine it with the same colours!! and let the paper speak…
for masculine lo’s: no embellies, maybe tearing some paper, some (most) stamping with arrows, circles, clocks!!
I like to use metal embellishments, distressing and muted colors usually for masculine layouts or projects.
Even with a masculine layout I use colors that compliment the photo and embellishments to re-enforce the theme of my page. I don’t like to limit myself to ‘boy’ colors or certain items – the art leads!
This line looks amazing! Can’t wait to see it hit the stores!
Most of my layouts are about my husband or my son and it’s pretty easy for me to make masculine layouts since I buy colors, embellies, paper that are very much boyish.
But as a personal touch, I take into consideration what they’re both into so, for hubby, I incorporate anything that has airplanes or travel in it. For my son, I incorporate bugs or cars or robots or animals.
Happy New Year! =)
I am so excited to see this manly collection! For my masculine items I always add twine and metal. I also have a great collection of clock image stamps that are perfect for masculine cards and layouts.
Besides obviously skipping flowers and all things pink…I also try to work in more metals, paints, and darker colors.Being a mom of 5 kids, THREE of them being boys…I had to figure out how to work my boys into the layout mix! I also tend to use a lot of quotes on my pages…I will look them up on quotegarden.com and I always find just the right quote. I find a lot of things from my local hardware store is more male friendly than I EVER find at a craft store. I would LOVE this graphic 45 line…I have a lot of odds and ends just dying for the right paper line for a book for my Dad!
What a great collection this looks like. Nice to have a masculine line from Graphic 45
DELICIOUS! I am always on the look out for manly papers – not tailored for little boys. I love to distress and ink up my masculine layouts. I also like to sew on them, but make the stitches a little irregular or messy, not so prim and proper! Thanks for the chance at winning!
This is some manly man paper! I love using metal, buttons, and material like muslin or tweed. I also like to use liquid applique and heat it to make it look like suede. Also some of the techniques that are fun for manly man projects are like faux leather and suede to name a few. Thanks for a chance.
I am completely stumped on how to make more masculine layouts and now that my boys are growing out of cutsie teddy bears and animals…I need to think of some ways, fast.
Love this paper! How very fun.
As for making masculine pages, I work with more blues, browns, greys, and instead of flowers and bling, I’ll use arrows, geometrics, bolder titles and so on.
Looooooove the look of this line!!!
My poor son doesn’t have many layouts of him because my daughter is so much easier to scrap.
This line will make it easier to scrap for him.
I use paint for masculine layouts. It gives it the aged, grunge look.
Love the Graphic45 new line….I use lots of dark colors (greens, blue, brown etc.) along with distressing, inks and ideas from Tim Holtz.
With two sons, I always kept flowers and pink hues off my pages until I had a little girl — now I am not afraid to put boy pictures on girly pages!
You can see a post I did recently about creating “the Man Card” at http://nationalpapercraftingmonth.blogspot.com/2010/01/january-5-man-card-or-how-to-use-female.html
Boys/men are always hard to scrap because there is so much girlie stuff out there. Thank you for offering a line that is dedicated to the guys in our lives!! When I scrap my boys, I tend to use the darker colors like black, browns, dark greens, dark blues, and dark reds to name a few. I also like to add silver. I will tear, ink edges, sand, anything to try to make it more guyish. I do use ribbon in shades of black, browns, metallics, twine, hemp, cording, rick rack. I also like the plain chipboard letters for guys. I love metal embelishments as well.
oh this line looks fabulous! i have a 15-yr-old son and while i don’t shy away from pastels, flower and ribbons on his pages, i do tend to go for a more masculine look by using darker colors and lots of found objects, like clothing tags.
I think I’m gonna love this paper too! I like to add vintage “man” buttons or use alot of earthy tones or chip board letters in my pages and cards. Thanks for the generous giveaway!
Because I’m usually scrapping my Father or Grandfather with masculine Papers, I will try to add some authentic bits and pieces from their lives and the layouts always turn out very vintage. My Dad was a carpenter and builder so I have used copies of his letterheads, invoices, anything with his handwriting on it, old pieces of worn out cloth and leather, and buckles. My Grandfather loved his garden so I add old seedpackets and gardenbed labels, old pieces of string and really…anything authentic from their time. I like to add gold or brass metallic rubs to my chipboard letters, and always use inks and torn, worn edges on my papers.
Cool papers and perfect for masculine projects! I actually have gotten lots of good ideas from reading the comments on this post (yippee!), but I tend to use neutral colors, as well as blues and greens for my men. I keep embellies simple and clean.
I do it with the colours and the type of embellishments I use…lots of grey, dk plums etc. Also I tend to use metal embellishments such as washers, watchbands, flat keys, discs, brads, eyelets, wire, small gear shaped items etc. etc.
I used colors – blues, browns, muted greens, etc. to make a layout masculine.
I uses lot of stars, animals – deer, elk, fish, birds, ink and paint for a grunge look, buttons, scraps of plaid material intead of lace.
I think just the colors I use tend to be more masculine. I do include flowers and other embellies though and am still able to keep it masculine.
Make my layouts more masculine? I guess I use less flowers ~ though I still stick them on somewheres
I love this line!!!! So gorgeous!!!!! I tend to use masculine papers, and also embellies that support the theme of my pages!
Looks cool! I always add twine instead of ribbon and buttons to my guy layouts which I do a lot of
all i know is that i don’t use flowers or pink but other than that, everything is fair game
I love the masculine line, its about time! i tend to use a lot of blue and brown and green in my layouts since I have three sons, my boyfriend, brother and nephew in my house, there just isnt enough out there for male layouts! This is great!
OMG love the new lines! Finally a line that can be used for older boys and men! thanks for the giveaway.
I’m loving these new designs that Graphic 45 is coming out with…lots of potential there! To traditionally “masculinize” a project I would be looking at the colors and tones (neutrals, naturals), as well as a more linear, simple look to the project. And, of course, embellies would be traditional “guy stuff”.
Wow! right in my alley; I have 4 boys in the house! Alter, distress, ink and some grungy frames and junk treasures!
i use lots of ink to distress and tone down the papers. i also like to add ribbons that have a more masculine feel and metal embellishments. love this new paper line from graphic 45. thanks for the great giveaway!!
These masculine papers are just wonderful. It is rare to come across really masculine designed papers and G45 does it so well.
I have 2 boys, so !!!
I use mist and few embellishments
I love clear and clean for masculine layouts
thanks for the chance
love to use vintage style for masculine layout
this line is perfect
I distress, I ink, I mist…
I have only boys in the house
I only create masculine layouts, and I use kraft cardstock
I although love metal embellishments
For boys I go for masculine colours, do some distressing (ink, tearing, roughing up the edges). I also tend to use fabric, hessian, metal, and other dimensional embellishments.
I have 2 girls, so most of my layouts are pretty girly. For masculine pages, I tend to use darker colors in browns and blues, tans for lighter shades. I also like to use metal, inking, mesh, etc.
LOVE THIS LINE .. see a few older vintage like photos getting scrapped!
So to keep my pages masculine I def like to tone it down … I use an assortment of hues or go with a monochromatic look. Also lots of texture … using different mediums! A masculine product line doesn’t hurt either .. WINK! LOL
Rachel
Oh Noice….I ink and distress and use lots of machine stitching …i use the journaling as the title and up size it… i use circles squares and heart shapes by just machine stitching… i paint my backgrounds and us a tool that creates a wood grain effect… print photos onto different materials….music paper comic book pages make fun..l i’n not afraid to color it up for my bloke… as he loves red and yellow!!!!
I used colours like greens and blues. I do a lot of distressing with ink, sanding. The use of metals also makes things more masculine in my opinion. Grunging things up goes a long way!
What great papers, love Graphic 45 stuff !
COOL papers, I love them. I have tons of vintage photos from the 30′s & 40′s, some even earlier than that, of some of them men in my family. My masculine layouts usually have lots of ink and distressing, and I tend to make embellishments with the paper I am working with. It’s lots easier than trying to find good masculine embellishments, which can be much harder to find. The G-45 papers are PERFECT for do-it-yourselfers like me!
I scrap mostly for a boy, and I never use flowers, silky ribbon, or fancy alphas.
It’s THE MOST WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF THE MANLY LOOK FOR THE TOUCH OF A MORE RUGGED STYLE FOR THOSE WHO NEED A MORE HARDY LOOK AND I LIKE TO DISTRESS,TEAR, AND USE A WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS, AND LAYERING TECHNIQUE’S, GRAPHIC 45 YOU DID IT AGAIN!! THANKS, LOVE YOU!
Love the new Graphic 45 lines…from what I’ve seen in the peeks. I guess for the guy cards, I use darker colors and no flowers…but I do use buttons, chipboard, old postage stamps…that kind of thing. This is an awesome prize! Thanks for the chance!
Joyce
Love Graphic 45. I will use dark shades of color, inking and more hardware usually on the more masculine projects.
The Graphic 45 lines are wonderful. It’s nice to have this addition as it’s often hard to find suitable images for a masculine page. Thanks for the chance to win thslatest line.
MAN oh man!!! this is the cat’s meow for designing beautiful pages for the guys!
I use distressing grunge, and LOTS of vehicles, sports, and action embellishments when putting together pages for my husband and other members of our family!
This is to die for! YUMM!
As many others, I distress a lot and I use a lot of Black. I am so into vintage so that really helps a lot in my opinion. I love what this line offers.
Can’t wait to see this line in person GRAPHIC 45 just gets better and better
Thank you for the opportunity to win! I use color, paper designs as well as the font to make a page more feminine or masculine.
Happy New Year! Cheryl fam4farm@yahoo.com
Perfect!! My primary scrap subjects are my 2 sons and my hubby. This paper is awesome!
Awesome amazing line!! I would love love love to win!!
This paper rocks!! How cooL!!
This is such a gorgeous new line…I’d love to win the chance to use it! when I’m making a more masculine piece I tend to use earthy colors, more distressing, less flourishes and bolder accents.
WOW! Fun, I’m so excited for a manly man line! I have some men in my life that would appreciate it, lol! Good job! Can’t wait to play with it.
New line is gorgeous. WOW!! When I am scrapping for a make, I use more earthtones, bold colors and less anything flourished.
Yummy papers!!! As others, grunging, distressing, the use of colour – I even use flowers on my teenage boy and even DH LO’s, but of course they are neither pink nor girly ones ;p Fun, funky or modern clean design, geometric shapes all work for me.
Pick me! Pick me! (Please!)

I love this designer. I usually use more primary colors, less cursive-y fonts, and fewer embellishments overall in my masculine layouts.
I’ll pretty much distress, add texture (think burlap, corduroy, etc), use ties in lieu of bows. Thanx for the inspiration and blog candy opp!
When I want to make a layout masculine I use subtle colors and lots of distressing. I use less flowers and more like metal embellishments.
Just love this new Graphic 45 paper! I use buttons and metal and grunge. These new papers are more manly than boyish and will be perfect for layouts involving my grown son.
I usually stick to a blue and brown color palette and distress.
It’s so hard to find good masculine papers – thank you for creating what looks to be a fantastic new group!
I use lots of texture and techniques with earthy colors! Fun line.
I use lots of stripped papers with solid colors in navy, brown, and dark green. I also keep fonts clean. Squares and rectangles are my friends.
I love to use Tim Holtz metal embellishments, gears and spinners on them! I adore this line from Graphic 45 and can’t wait to make a Father’s Day album with them and some cards!
I usually use colors that are boyish – blues, yellows, greens, browns. I tend to distress them more, ink them, etc. I like to use stars and when I use flowers, I will cut them so the petals are square. Metal embellishments are used often, too.
I usually choose blue and brown pp to match with the boyish theme, distressing and do with anything rugged look. Sometimes i do use flowers, but will limit them..
Nice papers! I try distressing the page and using darker colors for a more masculine look.
I don’t use bold colors I usually go for a darker color paper for the background, lots of inking on the edges, crazy colored paper that is torn on the edges so the total paper looks like a strong masculine man did the work!
I love Graphic 45! To keep my projects more masculine, I leave off the flowers and laces and substitute with twine and metal embellishments.
I add pictures of men, of course! All kidding aside, in an all male household, but me, I’ve welcomed any color and or embellishments onto my manly pages. Yet, this line totally rocks my world!! I have all kinds of page and project ideas stirring in my head!
Thanks for the giveaway! I use lots of ink and tearing, and am not even afraid to use a few flowers here and there!
I have been known to use rhinestones on my manly pages. I like more ink and I love cardboard! Grunge it up!!
Wow – that is an AWESOME giveaway. Thanks for the chance, love G45.
i love Graphic45!!!!
All my pages are masculine. i am not a frilly kind of girl really.
i love using distress techniques; perhaps that would be considered masculine.. i consider it perfection!!! LOL
Now mind you masculine is really a frame of mind wouldn’t you think. most of my pages are about me and my… whether that be my other half, my flowers, my family , my friends… we aren’t all masculine persay but we are strong.. does that make sense.. in my head it does!!
anyway, whether i win or not i will definitely be buying some of this line. i love love love it!!
Another fab line from Graphic 45. They know how to do pattern paper right! The style, the colors can not be beat!
I don’t know that I do anything very “feminine” since I love distressing everything in sight – followed closely by a passion for things “vintage”. The memory book I made my husband a few months ago, though, did include more “hardware” embellishing, more newsprint-type backgrounds.
I love this papers old fashion-vintage look, for me it’s a little difficult to find this kind of papers and specially Graphic45
Well, happy new year! and thank you
This is a very classy line! When doing male layouts or cards I use rich colors like burgundy and midnight blue and moss green. Leaves instead of flowers yet they don’t have to be rough looking. does that make sense?? lol
Great paper by Graphic 45!!
Would love to win it!
Love the line – fab for boys and bling it for girls!
There is not enough “man” things on the market! This looks wonderful! To make a card more masculine, I use blue and black, dark browns and beige. I also use things like bronze or black brads and buttons.
I love anything Graphic 45..and would love to win some goodies from this new line.
When working on anything masculine…I use dark colors..and distressing.
Using bold masculine colours and strong clean lines.
I’m a big fan of Graphic 45 paper and love this new Proper Gentleman line. My husband is a retired police officer and now spends more time doing his favorite activities – watching sports (Go Broncos!), golf, Cowboy Action shooting, and other non-frilly things. I use a lot of outdoorsy papers and design features and do ripping, tearing, and inking of papers to get the “nature” look for the pages with him and his activities. We’ve also visited Hawaii many times, where he loves to golf, so I have pulled in that tropical theme for many pages…palm trees and golf just go together!
I use dark colors and sometimes i treat the papers to make the look older. I also add stripes to the paper sometimes
I add car stuff! The only masculine layouts I do are for my dad and he’s a car dude!!
Graphic45 papers are wonderful and most of their earlier lines work really well for a masculine look, especially the reverse sides of the papers. Don’t forget the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink–that helps too.
For my more masculilne pages I tend to use more muted colors and embellish with twill ribbon, buttons, and chipboard. I also like to paint, distress, and use torn edges on these pages
I can’t wait to see this line in pesron! I just live the colors.
I scrap mostly males and these papers are ideal.
Mary
manly color combos!
I really like this paper!! I like the vintage look of it and love making cards…can never find good manly paper to make cards with. This will be perfect!!
For masculine cards, i use masculine colors, stitching, anything that suggests tailoring, and embellishments that don’t go to the feminine side.
OOHHHH
I LOVE THIS SET!!!
I usually add some masculine embellishments – like washers, string, twine, buttons, mesh, brads that resemble screws and lots and lots of distressing.
I am a huge fan of Graphic 45 and would love the chance to win. Thank you.
Luv Sandie
