This year I’ve made homemade vanilla extract and jars of homemade cookiemix (Cowgirl cookies, ready for the final few steps for making some really nice cookies). The jars have been decorated, the bottles of vanilla extract got printed labels sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

I have made mother/daughter aprons for several friends with daughters and I have painted small paintings for many of my other friends. I also made some felt egg cozies and some beaded ornaments. Whew! I’m exhausted – I would love to win some glimmer mist!

Yipee, new colors – love me some Glimmer Mist. Oh yes, those handmade gifts – nothing too elaborate, an 8×8 calendar for my MIL with childhood pics of her children and several card sets in gift bags for co-workers. There are how many more days until Christmas? :-O

I made a couple of mini-albums as gifts this year, and yup – Glimmer Mist figured heavily on both projects!!
I’m altering those large wooden paper clips to use as gift card holders. Glimmer Mist makes them sparkly and girly!
Sadly, the only thing I’ve made this year is pencil holders. I’m going to be having a Christmas baby and Christmas along with baby preparations has not been conducive to crafting!
I am making my decorations for my Christmas tree and making card for all of my friends. Discovered Tattered Angels a couples of months ago and love it and Frost is my favorite (Soooo nice on a card and ornaments!)

I’ve made ornaments for the tree this year for gifts. I decided to make some out of manilla shipping tags in different sizes. There are lots of fun. There will be Glimmers Mists on them too!!!!
I’ve made, so far, journals for our grandchildren, a tag/photo book to accompany a book for our great-nephew, a baby book for our DIL who’s expecting early in 2010. I’m knitting a scarf for a cousin and will be making candle toppers for a number of family/friends (a la Wendy Vecchi’s topper) to include with the cookie/candy/bread bags we mail/deliver every year .. Oh, and I’m going to make tags (a la Tim Holtz’s 12 Tags) for a number of family/friends, too. It canNOT already be Dec 10! I have too much to do!

I am making a bunch of altered Christmas projects on the Gauche Alchemy blog. More specifically, I’ve made cards, tags, and tonight, a homemade calendar. Have to get on making an altered canvas, a paperweight and perhaps even an altered notebook. Depends if I still have the energy and time! =)

I am actually making journals from composition notebooks and coordinating sticky notes pads and pens for the administrative assistants in my dh’s office. I would love to get my act together enough to try some glass etching to make nicer gifts for friends and family, but don’t know if it will actually happen!

My sister just found out she is having TWINS!! so she is getting some handmade babybooks for Christmas. Grams gets a handknit scarf for those cold Michigan mornings. And mummsie is going to get some cute fingerknit garlands for her christmas gift that is almost always christmas decorations!! So far I’ve made christmas cards & altered canvas wallhangings for the grandma’s. I used Graphic 45 papers & glimmer mists to make each look a little aged/vintage & hopefully they’ll love their gifts!!! (I love them so much I want to keep them!!)

My project this week is to tear apart a tacky wreath and bring it back to life. I got it at a Christmas party last year as a white elephant gift and I plan to regift it this year at the same party in it’s ressurected form. I just might have to include some tattered angelness. Thanks, ms.cheryl

I’ve made a 12×12 year in review album of my grandsons for my DIL and copied it in 6×6 size for my son in Afghanistan. I’ve made 3 8×8 Shutterfly year in review albums for relatives plus one 5×7 travel album. I’ve knitted scarves for some of my ESL students, and a made a kimikomi snowman (japanese caft) for my sister. I’ve made washi-paper stars for the tree and altered pine cones for decorations. I made a Christmas mini album for an auction for my church and I’ve baked and baked and baked somemore!
I’m probably just going to do homemade cards with gifts this year…maybe homemade gift wrap. Also, still contemplating painting a couple of art pieces…hmmmmm.

I am making one album…it’s chipboard covers and pages are cardboard about cereal box weight….I bound the book with a Bind it All Machine and used the Abbey Road papers for all the pages…it’s just a souvenir of my stepdaughter’s recent visit home with her two children….mostly her and the boys visiting spots around her home town…..I’m also making some packages of hot chocolate and potpourri that are like little cards….
I have been using my glimmer mist so much lately. It started out with a mini album for a birthday gift then evolved into xmas cards and now I’m working on xmas ornaments. I could sure use some new colors.
