When I first made one of these felt flowers, I realized that it was really a lot easier to make than I originally thought. So, here are some easy instructions for you to try it too. These would be great for decorating Christmas gifts, using on a scrapbook layout, on a home decor item, turned into a brooch, or something else. There are lots of possibilities for these! Your petal shapes don't have to be perfect!
When you fold over your petals to the front you'll get a nice little crease made from your stitching.
You could add just about anything to the centre of your felt flower. Try an old piece of jewelry, beads, or even a little pompom.
If you want to make a brooch out of your felt flower, turn it over to the back and sew on a little square of felt. To that, sew on a brooch pin back and you are done! Great for a stocking stuffer.
I hope you give it a try! You can whip up a bunch of them in no time flat!
