Have you made any gift tags for your Christmas gifts yet? Here is a quick and easy project that you may like to try. (You might also like to check out Saturday's post for more ideas.)
The tags were cut from patterned paper using a Cricut Expression. A Crop-a-Dile was used to punch holes and attach eyelets through the top.
Wondering what's in those jars? They are little sewing kits! So the vintage button goes along just right with the gift.
Stamps from Red Lead PaperWorks were used to decorate the tags. I love their ATC sized Christmas-themed stamps. I thought it would be kind of neat to use portions of these stamps and apply them offset onto small tags. Although I was tempted to colour in the images, I really liked the look of them with just black ink onto the patterned paper backgrounds. You can see the ATC stamps here. Red Lead PaperWorks is actually running a giveaway right now for some Christmas goodies from their store! Deadline is Wednesday. Click here to get in on the giveaway!
Baker's twine was used to make a hanger and vintage red buttons were tied on for an extra bit of colour. Other materials that were used are vintage doilies and woodgrain shelf liner.
You could also make quick mini tags using stamps from Red Lead PaperWorks' "Inchie Rubber Stamp Set." The little deer is so sweet!
