I absolutely love fall…the colors of changing leaves, picking crisp apples, roadside stands setup with an array of gourds & mums, digging out my sweaters, and enjoying the crisp fall days are a few of my favorites. This month's contest is a simple one. All you need to do is create a layout about your "fall favorite(s)" and upload it to the gallery. A random winner will be selected to receive a scrapbooking treat courtesy of Coordinates Collections.
Upload entries to the "Contests and Challenges" section of the CC Gallery by November 30th at 11:59 PST.
Winner will receive a $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the CC Store! Winner will be determined by a random drawing and announced on the CC Message Board. There's no limit to the number of entries, but you'll only be entered for the prize once.
For more details check out the Contests Page.
Closing date for the call: November 30, 2009

Fall is my favorite season, with Thanksgiving being my favorite holiday of the year. I love the crisp air, warm colors and time with family. One thing we do with our kids every year is spend time talking about what we have to be thankful for. It's always amazing to see what the kiddos come up with :). This month I want to challenge you to do a project on Thankfulness, you can follow this theme how ever it inspires you. The requirements that need to be met in the challenge are: use fall/warm colors, journaling of some kind is a must, and you must alter something. Just a little note on the altering….. your whole project can be an altered item or you can alter an item on your project (ie….alter one of your embellishments or your alphas) just be creative! In my example I altered a chipboard frame with gesso, distress ink and twine; I also altered my letters with acrylic paint and a black sharpie.
These must be new layouts or altered Items and posted in the ScrapMuse Gallery under "November 2009 Contest". Please also link them to the challenge thread so we can all admire them too. You will not only be playing for Scrapmuse mini Muse , but your winning layout will also be featured on our blog and website as the "layout of the month". The design team will select the winning layout by voting for their favorite layout based on the layout itself and by following the challenge as described. The deadline for this contest is November 30 at midnight, EST time.
