I found these old wooden frames at a thrift shop for next to nothing and it got me thinking about some inspiration boards I'd seen online. I wish I could remember where, so if someone knows, let me know.
These inspiration boards are so easy to make. The frames that I picked up had no backing already so there was nothing to remove. I like that the wall shows through behind anyway. If yours does have a cardboard backing, try covering it with a pretty patterned scrapbook paper for a background.
One of the frames had metal clips attached to the back. These were helpful as it meant there was something to wrap the wire to. For the one that didn't have the clips, I could have added some, but found it works just fine to just wrap the wire around the sides and twist it off. If your frame is large enough, you can add more than one row of wire.
The mini clothespins were purchased from a dollar store. I like that I can easily change out the photos and magazine clippings that are inspiring me for the moment. These inspiration boards would be a nice place to display holiday cards or your latest scrapbook project too! A grouping of a few of these frames in varying sizes would look very nice displayed together.
