Save the date, we’re planning a {mini} Scrap Pink Crop the weekend of October 24-25th. Both domestic and international croppers are invited so we hope to see you online as we bring awareness to Breast Cancer Research with a weekend of hope. Scrapdango – Fall Design Team Search

Scrapdango is looking for enthusiastic artists to join its Design Team. Scrapdango is a monthly scrapbook kit club that features two exciting scrapbook kits each month (a sugar and a spice kit), full of products from leading manufacturers. I realize that the category says 2006, but I can’t change it, so I put in a marker so I will know where the 2006 ends and 2009 begins! Your uploads must look awesome, no room for excuses! If you are going to be a Design Team Girlie, your images must look great. No dark or blurry images please.

The Creative Type – Masking Challenge
After a summer vacation, The Creative Type is back and better then ever. We have added 4 fresh new faces and we are ready to bring you some new creative ways to use Typography on your layots. For this prompt we will be exploring the technique of masking. Masking is better known as the reverse of stenciling, and we challenge you to use this technique while adding either your title to your page, your journaling, or if your really brave, both. Our guest designer Jennifer Tucker really brings it to the table and our sponsor has a great little goodie bag for one lucky winner. So here it is, The October 1st challenge!
1. Your layout can ONLY use hand cutting. No trimmers, punches or die-cutters allowed!
2. Use at least 3 different patterned papers on your page
3. You must make a card and a handmade embellishment with the leftover supplies from your layout.

The Studio – Charity: Water Extravaganza
When – 13-15 November
What - We are holding a non-stop 48 hour online crop with fantastic guests like Cathy Zielske and great prizes from the likes of Cosmo Cricket, Studio Calico and Big Picture Scrapbooking. Challenges will be set by guest designers and our design team every 2 hours for the entire event with prizes for each challenge and an overall winner.
