Remember a little while ago we told you about Craft Sassy? You can see previous posts here and here. You can design your own patterned scrapbooking paper and they will print it for you. Such a great idea!
In the Fall 2009 issue of Scrapbooking and Beyond an article was published about Craft Sassy. I wanted to show more photos of my paper designs and projects which were included in the article, but uncredited at the time of publication. Also published in that article was some work by Kathy Gleason at Scrappin’ Sports Stuff. You can see more on her blog here. Read the revised article in it’s entirety here (PDF) on their website.
Here are a few of my paper designs included in the article: (click to enlarge)
At left, "Bunting." To the right is "Kokeshi Inspiration."
At left is "Woodland Fawn," and to the right is "Fawn."
I made these projects quite some time ago so I’ll try to remember how they were made! The first one is an empty baby formula can altered into a money bank. The can was covered with various cut-out pieces of the "Woodland Fawn" paper. I also glued on text from an old book.
This next project was so easy to do. I found some blank notebooks at our local dollar store and simply recovered the covers with each of the papers. For the binding and to help secure the covers even more, I added strips of aqua coloured duct tape purchased from Michaels.
