Fleur Smith took an old container for Tetley Tea and turned it into this altered box below. She plans to use it for holding favourite recipes from both her and her husband’s families.
Angela Ploegman made a piggy bank made out of an old formula can and a paper wallet. "The intent is for my son to save for summer trips with the piggy bank and then be able to carry his saved money with him in the wallet. Even though the paper wallet is made from new paper, paper wallets are inexpensive and biodegradable versus wallets made from synthetic materials or leather."
Nerissa Alford altered the frame shown below. "The frame is a wood frame blank I picked up from Michael’s for a dollar. I recycled my anthropologie catalog & cut it into squares. That was the background for my frame. I modge podged the catalog pieces, doodled with my sakura pens, & added some dresden foils." Check out Nerissa’s cute shop here.
