There is something so appealing about art journals. Maybe it’s the raw art that is contained within the pages of an art journal, or maybe it’s just the fact that you can meld journaling and art into one piece and there are no rules around it. You are free to express what is on your mind, what is inspiring you and what makes you, you. Here are some pages to inspire you to start an art journal. (At the end, I’ll show you some glimpses of my art journals.)

Below are a couple of photos from my art journal. The first set of photos is a peek of an art journal cover from my Mini Book Projects eBook. The second and third photos show one I posted about last year in this post. The base is an altered children’s book. Most of the papers and embellies are from a Kimberly Kwan kit. The stamps are from Red Lead PaperWorks.
