At this time of year, some of us are thinking about weddings. Whether you’re a bride-to-be planning your wedding or a guest, you may have the need for scrapbook embellishments to use on your scrapbook pages.
Perhaps you haven’t scrapped your own wedding…. I haven’t! Yep, that’s right, I’m a little behind. One of the first pages I ever did was a scrapbook page about my husband Todd’s Grandmother’s wedding. I think the wedding photo was from the 1930′s. Sorry, I don’t have the page here or I’d show it to you, as bare as it was! I could’ve used some wedding scrapbooking embellishments for it.

Below is a photo of one wedding-themed scrapbook embellishment that I made years ago… It’s a fancy shaped hat made from paper. If I remade that hat now I would probably dress it up a lot more. Maybe even curl the edges a bit, add some layers and add some pretty vintage flowers and ribbons too.

You could also make butterflies for a wedding-themed scrapbook page. Below is a large butterfly example and also some using the tiny butterfly punch available from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Flowers are another idea that would be suitable for embellishing a wedding scrapbook layout. Here is one below which has a detailed how-to in our e-book, Scrapping Spring.

If you have wedding scrapbook embellishments that you’ve made, send us an email. scrapscene @gmail.com (no space.) We’d love to see them!
