When we sold our house in Ft. Myers, Florida and moved a bit north to Tarpon Springs, we put some of the profit of the sale into a designated work room for me. I was fortunate to find a cabinet maker whose wife was a scrapbooker. She told him to have me actually scrap a page at a card table and watch what I reached for and where I kept things when I worked. She said, "Listen to the woman. She knows what she needs." And he did!
I have tons of cabinets, adjustable shelves galore in the close and tons of room for all my "toys". The nice thing is that when we have overflow company, the closet doors shut and the room easily converts to a second guest room.
