Weekly Challenge – Home Decor
This weeks challenge is to create a home decor project using your scrap supplies. No traditional layouts or cards applicable! To see some examples go here.
During that entire week, all forum members will be able to vote for their favorites (you can vote for more than one) and the project that receives the most votes by Sunday at 8pm cst will be the winner of that challenge. The winner will have their name and project displayed in a special place.
We will also do a random drawing at the close of the contest and one lucky contestant will win a $5.00 gift certificate to be used toward a future kit purchase. Please note that there is only one entry per person for the drawing even if you entered more than one project.
We look forward to seeing what all of you come up with!
Dixie Pieces – National Scrapbooking Day Event
DixiePieces is offering challenges to get you scrapping this weekend in celebration of National Scrapbooking Day. All the April challenges in their forum will be extended, and two new challenges will be added on Saturday, May 2nd. The deadline for completing challenges will be Sunday night, May 3rd, at midnight PDT.
For each challenge completed, you will receive a ticket for the random prize drawing. What’s the prize? A free June 2009 scrapbook kit! June? Wow! That’s not even available for sale yet! But wait; there’s more! In addition to receiving the June 2009 kit before it’s available to anyone else, you will win the opportunity to be the June 2009 guest designer! Interested? A Million Memories – NSD Weekend
At A Million Memories, we are celebrating National Scrapbook Day Friday through Sunday. Join us on our message boards and you will find several tutorials from our INCREDIBLE design team, including instructions on making watercolor backgrounds (by Larissa Albernaz), creating your own hand-cut titles (by Rachel Hall), using masks and mists (by Mia Caniza), just to name a few.
