More Ideas for Scrapbooking with Dollar Store Finds

To view our past post about using dollar store items for scrapbooking and paper crafting projects, please click here.

Retta, of Foxy’s Weblog, tells us, "I always scan up and down the aisles of my local Dollar Stores for scrapbooking related items. My first stop is where they keep school supplies. Clipboards, sketchbooks and small notebooks that I can cover in patterned papers are three of my favorite items to pick up!"

Here are a couple of projects that Retta made using items she found at her local dollar stores.

Below is a key holder that Retta altered.  She painted and decorated it using paper dolls from Mary Engelbreit.

This is the outside of the key holder:

Also, Rett altered a notebook she found at the dollar store and turned it into a mini scrapbook / art journal.  I love how this turned out!  See one photo below:

Here’s another good idea from Lilia Meredith, of Flea Market Studio.  She altered a dollar store Barbie night light and made it cute – take a look here.
