BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Memory Mania’s 2 day retreat, CCL, since 2001, will be held at Crowne Plaza located at 4728 Constitution Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the Premier Ballroom! Camp Crop-A-Lot is designed to pamper each camper with 37 quiet hours of cropping, meals, and a great time with friends! Campers will report to their Camp Counselors FRIDAY, July 24 at 9:00 a.m. (or whenever you can). Classes will begin at 9:30 a.m. You will have 19 hours to crop with your fellow campers. Lunch is served from 12:00 –1:00 p.m. Crop the evening away until dinner at 6:00pm. Then crop ‘til you drop or 4 a.m. A Memory Mania representative will be up until the last person leaves at 4:00 a.m., so you are safe to leave all supplies, etc at your seat the entire weekend. Camp will resume on SATURDAY, July 25 at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is served at 12:00 noon. Then it’s back to cropping! Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. You’ll still have about eight more hours for cropping before its lights out at 2 a.m.

I love going on retreats. They are so few and far between for me, but I always get so much done and the company is always a blast. Staying up until three, just to turn around and do it again!
I have never been on a scrap retreat, that’s why I am antering! When you are a 1-income family, things like this are hard :O(
I can just imagine the pages & stories flowing.
Oh, & hubby is giving me a weekend away somewhere for Mother’s Day so I could take him up on this weekend! LOL

scrapbooking retreats give you the chance to meet new people, learn new things and rejuvenate your own scrapbooking styles. And sometimes you even get some things done!! I’ve gone on several and I love them.
Staying put for a whole weekend, stash, classes, food, fellow scrappers and inspiration all to hand – they’re great. I go to the Scrap Revolution (in the UK) retreats in May and Nov and they are just so much fun, but I’d love to try one in the US for 3 whole days (and nights!). I find I get more inspired the later into the night I crop…
I love to go on retreats. My friends & I used to go up to a cabin in Idaho, but sadly, the cabin is now sold and we have to find a new spot. I also attended the MemoryWorks retreat last year in Utah – it was sooo awesome!

I LOVE CCL and have been to the last 3. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to come up with the funds this time to go. Tammy and her crew do an awesome job and whoever wins this WILL NOT be dissappointed!
I went to my first Scrapbrook Festival 2-1/2 yrs. ago with my friend to get some R&R (not to scrapbook). Forget the R&R…..I was hooked from that moment on! We have been to CCL several times and I can only say GREAT things about it. Have not been able to sign up for this one, but who knows….maybe my luck is about to change!!
Weekend retreats are the BEST way to accomplish the things you put off at home and to create wonderful pages that will make awesome memories for your family in the future.

Yes. I have and LOVE them.. we go to one in the spring and fall..we have the best time..and its a kiddie free weekend..love that you can come and go and leave all your stuff out..and the food & snacks….and CHOCOLATE!!!
i have attended the last two CCL’s with my friends and family. it is a great get away to do something that i love for a weekend. i have not been able to sign up for the July 2009 CCL, so hopefully this will be my lucky shot.
Retreats where I get some serious scrapping done! And I always loved going to camp…
i have attended many weekend events….and all have been wonderful………….meeting new friends and spending time playing with paper and glue………..a girl can’t go wrong!!!!!!!

I will be attending my first weekend retreat this year! I am hoping to meet new friends and get a lot of scrapping done. I am pregnant with our first baby and this is something I wanted to do before our baby arrives later this summer. It would be awesome to win a spot to this event! Thanks for the opportunity.
I haven’t participated in a whole weekend activity… but have done some little scrapbooking “parties” with friends that started at 2pm and ended at 5am… does that count? Well… I can’t be the lucky winner since Louisiana is too far away from me… but thanks for the opportunity to comment anyway.
