Get It Scrapped! is One Year Old this Month!

Get It Scrapped! is one year old this month.

Our teachers have a celebration planned for the weekend of April 25th that includes challenges, chats, projects, and prizes. Please be sure you’re on our mailing list to get notice of all the events. Until then, we’ve got plenty of classes that have just begun or are starting soon.

Journey of Remembrance

After losing her mom suddenly and quite unexpectedly in the summer of 2007, Tania Willis discovered that riding the inevitable waves of grief was one of the most trying and emotional experiences she’d endured. She also discovered that creating an album of remembrance turned out to be the most cathartic form of recovery. She’s ready to share prompts, approaches, ideas, and support as you make your own album of important and cherished memories.

In Loving Memory with Tania Willis beings April 9th. Cost is $25.

Intermediate Photo Editing

As you work through six lessons over two weeks, you will become a master at changing all the things you don’t like about your photos! Do you hate that background behind your darling little one’s birthday portrait? Change it! Do you wish your wrinkles and double chin weren’t quite so apparent? Change them! Are you horrified at the hideous orange shirt you wore in your family photo? Change it! And, by the way, would you like that same family photo to include your son, who had to work that day? Change it!

Intermediate  Photo Editing with Lynn Weber begins April 13th. Cost is $25.

 Scraproom with a View

Check out the home-inspired scrapbook page ideas in this original and inspiring class with Doris Sander. We’re just half-way through the lessons, but there’s still plenty of time to join in – and you’ll use the handouts long after scheduled class time is over. So far, Doris has been our guide through the kitchen, the car, the closet, and the garden. She’s shared ideas for topics to scrap, ephemera to include on the page, and even techniques inspired by household items. In addition to her beautifully illustrated class materials, Doris keeps the forum hopping with lots of fun questions, ideas, challenges, and prizes. I can’t wait to move onto the garden, the mailbox, and the other spots she’s put on the itinerary.

Scraproom with a View with Doris Sander runs through April 17. Cost is $25.

 “Circle of Moms” album

We all have special women in our lives who help us prepare and then become exceptional mothers. Capture their insights, advice, glory, guilt, inspiration and truth of motherhood in a keepsake that showcases their wisdom. We will honor these mothers using their own words in an album that is sure to be a cherished reference for years to come. This class with Trish Turay will include sketches for an 8×8 album and pdf templates to complete the project, along with a message board/support to answer any questions. Join us!
