After 
being gone for 16 days on our road trip, we finally arrived home late Sunday night! How nice to sleep in our own beds! Texas was great, but one heck of a drive! We sure did love it there. Great weather, great beaches, etc.
Other than the visiting the big box scrap supply shops, I didn’t have a chance to explore the LSS’. And… I had planned on stopping at a flea market or two, but that didn’t happen. (I have to trick Todd, my husband, by arranging it so that I am driving when we drive by one! Otherwise, he won’t stop, LOL!) I did buy some 
multi-coloured embroidery floss at Joanne’s though. The purpose of this trip was for a family vacation, so that was accomplished!

Ok, I love the beach and the kids are so cute. Here’s a family tradition we always do at the beach. We write our names in the sand and the date and have someone take a photo of use trying to get the water in the pic. My hubby and I went to NC for our anniversary in Jan. He faithfuly took me to Myrtle Beach in the rain, took my pic and let me hear the waves for 10 min. Then it was “So you do you think you’ve had enough of the beach today.” Now, that is love.

Ahhh…yes…it is always good to come home and sleep in your own bed. Welcome home.
Looks like a wonderful time! There will be other times for LSS stops. Next time let me know you’re coming & I’ll help you plan….er, stops….

Carla – we went to Padre Island and pretty much planted ourselves there for a week! Next time I will have to get out more, LOL!
