Yesterday, we posted about fabric envelopes that inspire. Today, we are featuring felt envelopes.
Valerie Franek made the felt envelope shown at right. This one looks really simple to make. I like how she selected a lime green button and lime green embroidery floss to create her envelope. Not only functional, but it gives an added punch of colour. I can picture making these and decorating them with lots of scrapbooking embellishments like flowers, buttons, ribbon, etc.
This felt made "Dear John" letter is hilarious, but so well done. Crafted by Mlle de la Poubelle. Check out their Etsy shop here, Oh by Jingo and you can purchase one of your own Dear John letters here.
These felt envelopes are used as tea bag cozies. Available for sale in Cocoa Cream Crochet’s Etsy shop.
Monda Loves made a felt envelope and lined it with Amy Butler fabric. She used it to hold a Valentine postcard. Monda used a tutorial from LucyKate Crafts. See photos of it here. I just love how she made the ‘stamp!’ Also, check out her Etsy shop here.
At left is a photo we’ve posted before. Elsie Flannigan made this cute litle felt envelope as a portfolio to hold wallet-sized photos of her layouts to give to family and friends.
