Susan Coish made a 
calendar for her Mother-in-Law for Christmas this year. I love how she has this in a clear case with the tabs identifying the month peeking through. One photo is shown at left. See more photos and details here.

Kimberly, of Hip 2B Square, recently made a magnetic advent calendar. You can see it here. Such a great idea to frame it!
The frame was part of the original advent calendar design. The frame made it a permanent holiday decoration for our family. In fact, we use these frames with the magnetic boards to display our latest pages around our store and at home. Four glue dots & four tiny little magnets on the back of a layout make for a fabulous display. A little un-du will allow you to easily remove the magnets when you are ready to switch layouts.
