Ali Edwards (on her blog) asked that we pick a word that we want 2009 to be. My word is “time”….time to do things….taking time….past time….pasttimes….everything time. I have decided I am going to dedicate a scrapbook to “time” and I wonder if I could incorporate these clocks somehow.

  14. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

This is SO cool! I haven’t made a calendar for 2009 yet and Emily’s clocks would be just the ticket!

I made two calendars for 2009. Both were gifts, so I need to make one for me now.

Thanks for the chance to win! And yes, I did make a calendar for 2009 to help me achieve my yearly goal (not a resolution…they always fail) of being more attentive and thoughtful to others by sending cards, notes, phonecalls and taking the time to let them know they’re special. I am putting all the special people and their special days on this calendar.

In answer to your questions, I did make one calendar for ’09 already; you can see it here:

    http://clearalbums.com/projects/2009-scalloped-calendar-clear-scraps-acrylic-chipboard-album

but I need to make several more and these are very inspiring! Also this is exactly the kind of embellishment I like to incorporate into layouts too. Thanks for the fun giveaway and good luck to everyone!

Thise clocks are a great idea!! I’ve done two calendars for 2009 so far….

  41. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

I did make a calender in a challenge I did… but I think stamping the clocks in the background in different colors would be cute.

Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

I still need to make a calendar for 2009 and the clocks would be the perfect background for my personal calendar! I am a dedicated scrapaholic (which takes a lot of time) and have 4 kids an 3 grandchildren whom I take the time to look after in the afternoons. To top this off, I decided that 2009 will see me getting fit, losing weight and taking better care of myself before I reach the big 50. Oh, my relationship with my significant other also needs an investment in time. Then my garden…. Ok, you get my drift! That’s why I need those clocks so badly – to be able to organise my life and the loves of my life…. I am sure they will also be beautiful on pages to depict the passing of time!

Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

Nope I’ve been meaning to start on one. Thanks for the push. Those digital clocks will look great as a backgound of a layout of the calender.

  44. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

Cute clocks! I would make a calendar, because at the moment there isn’t a 2009 calendar in my scrap room and I need one. I just need a weekend without any plans to get one done.

crossing fingers here to win these clocks.

  45. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

    Very cool, thanks for sharing!

  46. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

Yes, I have made calendars – many were made in the 90′s when scrapbooking was something only your grandma did. But the style has changed over the years! I can use these beautiful clock faces for various themes: birthdays, vintage, New Years, anything that has to do with the passage of time (anniversaries?) … give me more time, I can come up with even more ideas.
    Greetings from Florida!
